shadowed snow
This is actually the subject of an acrylic painting I did this summer, called "Upper Davis Brook Snow" (see http://paintedpaperbyholly.blogspot.com/2008/07/upper-davis-brook-snow.html) ....the organic farm that I work at once a week is perfect to catch that early morning sun on a fresh snow.
I've been a painter my whole life.... I just didn't know it. Luckily, I've been using photography as an extension of a life-long desire to capture what I see, now I can do it in 2 mediums. I couldn't tell you which came first, the desire to paint or photography, but, does it really matter?
Please feel free to browse my other medium, primarly in watercolor, at www.paintedpaperbyholly.blogspot.com
Feedback is always appreciated!
