My photography blog here is intended to complement my painting blog - you may see some photos that you recognize as paintings, and vice versa...go ahead, see if you can find them!

winter hill
It's sometimes surprising that one can find color on a bleak, grey winter day. I was happy there was still enough foliage on the oak trees to provide just a touch of red.
I've been a painter my whole life.... I just didn't know it. Luckily, I've been using photography as an extension of a life-long desire to capture what I see, now I can do it in 2 mediums. I couldn't tell you which came first, the desire to paint or photography, but, does it really matter?
Please feel free to browse my other medium, primarly in watercolor, at www.paintedpaperbyholly.blogspot.com
Feedback is always appreciated!
