My photography blog here is intended to complement my painting blog - you may see some photos that you recognize as paintings, and vice versa...go ahead, see if you can find them!
She couldn't wait for summer...and she really couldn't wait for the pool. When she found out that we were the only ones at the pool, she couldn't resist.....
If you look closely, the "tire tracks" across this leaf are actually shadows from the fronds of a fern that was growing above it. I was intruiged by the patterns the fern made, and the abstract quality it created. Found in NH, near Cardigan Mountain.
I've been a painter my whole life.... I just didn't know it. Luckily, I've been using photography as an extension of a life-long desire to capture what I see, now I can do it in 2 mediums. I couldn't tell you which came first, the desire to paint or photography, but, does it really matter?
Please feel free to browse my other medium, primarly in watercolor, at www.paintedpaperbyholly.blogspot.com
Feedback is always appreciated!
